Dead Rising 2 — Off the Record is a third-person action game developed by Blue Castle Games. The story centers on Frank West, the hero of the original Dead Rising. Frank will explore areas of Fortune City that were inaccessible to Chuck, encounter new types of zombies, and test out new deadly engineering creations.

The protagonist is equipped with a camera: interesting and unusual photos earn so-called Prestige Points. In addition to new locations, enemies, and gear, Off the Record features improved graphics, reduced loading times, and optimized netcode.
