Dead Rising 4 — is a third-person action game developed by Capcom Vancouver. It is the fourth installment in the Dead Rising series, announced during Microsoft's E3 2016 conference. The events of Dead Rising 4 take place in Colorado, and the protagonist once again is the infamous Frank West.

The game's story is set in 2022. Once a renowned photojournalist, now a college professor, Frank West follows a tip from one of his students to a secret military base in Colorado to conduct a journalistic investigation. Later, after uncovering the truth behind the research and government secrets related to the zombies, Frank becomes a wanted criminal and is forced into hiding.
