Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes — Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values.
By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.

The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic. Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further. It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends.

• Revisit locations to recruit more allies — As the spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes boasts a hundred recruitable companions. Still, you won’t be able to meet all of them right from the get-go. In fact, some characters only become available later in the campaign, and they might be found in previously visited locations. There are characters that will join you upon chatting with them for the first time. Others might have additional requirements, such as increasing your level further or tackling their quest objective.
• Master the turn-based combat system — Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes makes use of a turn-based combat system. Each character takes turns based on their Speed stat, as denoted by portraits at the top of the screen. Battle resources include Magic Points (MP) and Skill Points (SP). • Prepare for army battles — Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes also has army legion warfare. You control troop formations, moving them across the grid to clash with hostile forces. Unique characters confer passive boons, and you gain access to Legion Commands that can turn the tide of battle. The goal is to maximize enemy casualties while keeping your units alive to ensure that the opposing side is routed.
